Welcome to 'The Bungalow'

Welcome to our quiet location on the historic 'Holy Island of Lindisfarne'.

Situated at the edge of the village, those already familiar with the Island will appreciate the convenience of our large private car park and the views over open fields towards 'Lindisfarne Castle' and beyond from the garden and most bedrooms.

Since taking over the property in 1996, through a comprehensive series of internal and external renovations 'The Bungalow' has developed from a basic 'English Tourist Council' listed status to a comfortable and homely 4-star B&B with silver quality rating.

Whatever time of year, peace and tranquillity is always abundant and a warm welcome awaits.

RESIDENTS' CAR PARK

If you have stayed on the Island before then one thing you really will appreciate is our residents' car park. It has room for the largest of residents' cars.

Simply let us know if you find yourselves arriving early as departing guests might have already left enabling you to avoid village parking fees by driving in right away!

GUEST ENTRANCE

Guests enter 'The Bungalow' through the conservatory on the sunny, south side of the building where both the breakfast room and guest wing are accessed.

Two of our bedrooms are east-facing with splended views over our well established garden towards Lindisfarne Castle and beyond.

The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is one of those very special, photogenic places.

Stepping down into the garden you can enjoy a vista extending from the castle, local countryside to the Dunes and North-Side. But rarely is the view of the castle more beautiful than on a January morning...
